Full-graphics version
I've taken Steve McConnell's advice to heart, and try to read at least one new book a month about software development. I blather about some of my favorites.
I'm currently a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (more commonly known as the IEEE). I'm also a member of the IEEE Computer Society.
I'm also involved with the Agile Bazaar (a group of Boston-area professionals interested in agile software development).
My resume is now available!.
One of the major goals that I have for this site is to demonstrate some of my programming skills. That's pretty hard to do on a server that doesn't permit me to run server-side scripts or processes. I did, however, figure out a way to use XML, XSL, and test-driven techniques to design and build this site; a brief overview is available on the About page, and the details (including sample code) are on the How This Site Is Built page.
